Friends 4 Kindness
Friends 4 Kindness is a charitable organization led by Nicole Callander. Our team proudly holds a spot on the board of directors, contributing to event creation, concept development, and volunteer execution. We also assist with year-end not-for-profit tax reporting.
Friends 4 Kindness is dedicated to fostering inclusivity, with their flagship event, the Unbirthday Party. This heartwarming event brings youth and adults with different abilities together in a local community park to celebrate inclusively, creating one big birthday party for those who may otherwise be left out of friends’ and peers’ celebrations.
Gifts of the Heart (Brantford)
Gifts of the Heart (Brantford) is a not-for-profit organization that has identified specific schools within the community where children’s families are struggling financially, and the kids are often missing important and nutritious meals.
Through a network of manufacturers and retailers, the organization sources fresh vegetables from local farmers and community gardens, as well as breads, proteins, soup broths, and more from manufacturing centers and retailers. The team then takes these source products and prepares nutritious lunches for up to 5 schools daily throughout the school year.
The organization is driven by volunteers, and we are proud to serve as their treasurer. Currently, we are assisting them in transitioning from a not-for-profit community organization to a charitable status. This will enable the organization to provide charitable tax receipts, access larger grants, and achieve greater fundraising targets to expand their impact.
Brantford Bulldogs
The Brantford Bulldogs are all the buzz in the city of Brantford. Having arrived here in 2023, the city and its residents have embraced the Bulldogs with great excitement. The city is so thrilled to have the Bulldogs as part of its future that city council recently voted to raise funds privately to build a brand-new sports arena to ensure their long-term presence.
Premier was one of the first sponsors to support this exciting new community attraction. We believe communities thrive when they bring many elements together for their residents, and sports and entertainment attractions are indeed part of the mix from our perspective.
Brantford Bisons
The Brantford Bisons have a long and storied history in the community of Brantford. Our President, Jason B. Smale, is an active and vocal community supporter of football.
After seven years of focusing on the growth of Premier Professional Accountants and stepping away from coaching, Jason was called back to the coaching ranks of the Brantford Bisons U18 program by his dear friend and Head Coach of the U18 program, James Kelly.
As a staff, they supported and developed the players, spending over four months offering coaching and mentoring to the kids, connecting them with sports trainers to assist with off-field development. Their efforts culminated in winning the U18 AA OSFL Championship in 2024.
Jason returns to the staff in 2025 aiming to be part of leading the team to another championship victory.
Premier Count
Since 2021, the Premier Count has brought joy and connection to families and children, becoming a cherished part of our community. More than a brand ambassador, it creates magical moments at every event, spreading laughter and warmth.
From Unbirthday Parties with Friends 4 Kindness to children’s initiatives with the Brant Sports Council and Brantford’s annual Scare in the Square, the Premier Count is a beloved presence, inspiring smiles wherever it goes.
As we expand into the Niagara region, we are thrilled to bring the Premier Count to new communities, continuing its mission to spark joy and foster togetherness at local events that make neighborhoods thrive.
